Who is erin?
Welcome to the Erin’s Sunday Kitchen website! If you haven’t guessed it, my name is Erin - I am a 23 year old Gold Coast girl with a passion for cooking and wellness, and I pride myself on living a busy & balanced lifestyle!
I started Erin’s Sunday Kitchen as a creative outlet for myself, and also to help myself make the time to achieve my goals & all of the things that are important to me during the week, whilst also fuelling my body and prioritising my health and fitness goals; As an occupational therapy university student, support worker and business owner amongst my many other hobbies and responsibilities, I understand that even with the best intentions, convenience is the main thing that gets in the way of our eating habits and goals.
Whilst it’s so easy to take the blame for not setting yourself up the way you said you would, the real problem comes when it’s lunchtime in the middle of a busy day; When your super-low-calorie, vacuum sealed meal just isn’t looking as good as the sausage rolls downstairs… Or when you spend $200 on groceries promising to make your own lunches this week, but end up yet again with veggies going old in the fridge and wasting $20 everyday on a mediocre cafe lunch that doesn’t meet the macros you’d aimed for.
Which is why why I created Erin’s Sunday Kitchen - an alternative to the mass produced meal programs that focus on restrictive eating and grocery waste in a 2025 economy, and a way to use my passion to build a local community of people with similar goals and values, whilst not sacrificing our bodies OR busy schedules.
Everyday I am grateful for all of the support that my community has given me, and even if you’re not in a place to purchase my meals I really appreciate you supporting me on my journey!
